Designer Diary: May
What is something I wish I had known when I was younger?
Don't be scared, and D, just go for it. Never trust your own judgment, "good or bad. Our opinions are biased ISO; sometimes it takes trusting your gut, no voices, just go! I've been acting this way since starting this process, and it has me taking steps I've dreamt of for years. Now I've applied to be a keynote speaker at a national conference on sustainability, of course. I also have three clients; my highest-paid projects are the last three. Each breaking previous record • If I had kept my past mindset, I probably would not have tried any of this, and I definitely wouldn't be
Succeeding the way I am now. I'm not looking back.
Another day to make a change!
I am back with it, writing, designing, and making changes. One of my first two big purchases was a membership with The Futur. Still, after many years under my regular LLC, a standard company under my name, I finally bought my official company name. I was awarded the dab for Bigger Creative. Now I don't only own the.com, but I now own the name. I am really excited, it's really mine. I have been working a lot on the new site and love how it looks. I have sent the contract and invoice to my new client, and just waiting for that to clear. Otherwise, I am still working on the website redesign, the podcast rebranding, and my marketing lists. I must return to my marketing project for The future pro accelerator program. I love the Group, and it has been a great place to develop ideas and grow.it is just the beginning of #somethingbigger and how I am barely scratching the surface. Now I need to release some blogs...
Another day another dollar!
Yesterday I took a beat to collect myself, finish up some small things, and I got my first video recording. I am setting up processes and a marketing spreadsheet; I need to contact some clients today for follow-up. I will also set up a few new templates and get the first two discovery sessions locked in. I am developing a system of "brand" packages for all types of work. I want to build a test to rate what people may wish on a scoring system, then use that as lead gen to the different Sales pages. I am doing things that I never really have handled before.in terms of outreach, I never did anything like this. I may have known this process was necessary, but I never did it. Other than that, we are close to launching it about Payroll. I have to get ideas from the A.I. Process to create the case study & start creating that work and webpage. I will also put these together to create a new blog post style. I have some client work today, but I also want to do social posts for releases of new items like the rebrand, new site, and new offers, systems, and products.
A quick entry
I took a day to develop my services and create some marketing tests. I also reached out to my client, and we finally signed contracts. Tomorrow is Friday, and I will be releasing another blog post I will share next week; I also want to develop all the social media posts for next week. I am growing and thinking of new ways of presenting the brand. I will be working this weekend on some marketing lists, work automation, and marketing schedules. I wrote most of the week and am doing better on this. I am ready for a new setup as well. -checking out.
Hello again!
It was the holiday weekend, so I took some time off. I have a new passion project in the works. My wife put me onto it, and I'm hooked. May would be a Berge kick-off, but it has been less than stellar. Today I finally had my first meeting with my client Janine. It has been a while, and a few setbacks: have us just kicking things off. Today we worked on the Brand audit. Tomorrow we are yet to start on the persona. I'm super stoked to have reported for the first time all my clients are amazing, the projects are exciting, and I had my most significant single day, w/8K collected in a day. I never thought I could even approach these numbers, and now I'm continuing to push my ideas & earning capabilities further and further •. I haven't been this excited in a while. And it's just getting started.

A conscious branding comic studio is not a design shop with comic-book graphics. It is a strategic, story-led, sustainability-minded studio that helps brands understand who they are, what they stand for, and how to make their work easier to believe in.
